The Tompkins Falcons basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Lamar Texans to 43 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Falcons now have a 5-5 record. They play next when they travel to Jordan for a 6A Region III District 19 game on Tuesday, November 25. Tompkins will confront a Warriors team coming off a 81-34 non-league win over Fort Bend Austin (Sugar Land, TX). The Warriors record now stands at 8-1.

With the loss, Lamar falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Texans travel to Oak Ridge (Conroe, TX) to confront the War Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, November 22. The War Eagles go into the game with a record of 3-7. Oak Ridge won 42-22 in their recent non-league outing against Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX)
