The Manvel Mavericks basketball team scored 59 points and limited the visiting North Shore Mustangs to 42 in the Mavericks non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Mavericks now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Dawson for a 6A Region III District 22 outing on Tuesday, November 25. Manvel will clash with a Eagles squad coming off a 60-58 non-league loss to Brennan (San Antonio, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 11-1.

The Mustangs (7-4) will now prepare for their outing against Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Chargers go into the non-league game with a 2-6 record. In their last game, Clear Springs was beaten by Katy Taylor (Katy, TX), 71-49, in a non-league game.
