Ozona Lions (Ozona, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their basketball team tip the visiting Mason Punchers (Mason, TX), 44-38 in a non-league contest.
The Lions (8-1) will now prepare for their contest against Coahoma (Coahoma, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Coahoma nipped Roosevelt (Lubbock, TX), 51-21, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Punchers face the Coleman Bluecats (Coleman, TX) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, November 25. Mason will attempt to upgrade on its 8-1 season record. The Bluecats enter the outing with a 1-3 record after their 42-41 non-league loss to North Hopkins (Sulphur Springs, TX).
