The Shelbyville Dragons were victorious over the host Waskom Wildcats basketball team by a margin of 40-23 in Saturday's non-league game.

The Dragons now have a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Timpson for a non-league game on Monday, November 24. Shelbyville will confront a Bears team coming off a 37-32 non-league win over Troup (Troup, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Waskom falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Ore City (Ore City, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a non-league outing on Tuesday, December 2. The Rebels enter the outing with a record of 1-11.
