The Monroe Academy Volunteers (Monroeville, AL) basketball knocked off the host Hooper Academy Colts (Hope Hull, AL), 58-47 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Volunteers (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Fort Dale Academy (Greenville, AL). The Eagles go into the AISA AAA Region 2 Area 1 outing with a 1-0 record.
The Colts now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Meadowview Christian for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 30.
