The Ider Hornets (Ider, AL) basketball felled the host Boaz Pirates (Boaz, AL), 53-40 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Hornets (4-1) will now prepare for their test against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 3-0 record. In their last test, Sand Rock thwarted Asbury (Albertville, AL), 68-32, in a non-league test.
The Pirates now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Sylvania for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 24.
