Texas High School Basketball - Veterans Memorial nips Antonian Prep

Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Veterans Memorial Patriots (San Antonio, TX) and the visiting Antonian Prep Apaches (San Antonio, TX), saw Veterans Memorial's basketball squad hold off Antonian Prep by a count of 70-63.

With the victory, Veterans Memorial upgrades its record to 6-3 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Brandeis (San Antonio, TX) to play the Broncos in a non-league challenge on Monday, November 28. The Broncos come into the challenge with a record of 6-4. Brandeis won 64-61 in their recent non-league challenge against O'Connor (Helotes, TX)

Next up, the Apaches play the Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, November 29. Antonian Prep will attempt to upgrade on its 6-4 season record. The Hurricanes come into the challenge with a 1-4 record after their 70-57 non-league loss to Concordia Lutheran (Tomball, TX).
