Bloomfield Cardinals (Bloomfield, IN) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Owen Valley Patriots (Spencer, IN), 74-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bloomfield upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, IN) to play the Bluejackets in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Bluejackets come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Mitchell lost 64-60 in their recent league bout against Springs Valley (French Lick, IN)

Next up, the Patriots play the Parke Heritage Wolves (Rockville, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 26. Owen Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Wolves come into the bout with a 0-1 record after their 67-59 non-league loss to Greenwood Christian Academy (Greenwood, IN).
