In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Jennings County Panthers (North Vernon, IN) basketball squad edged the visiting Whiteland Warriors (Whiteland, IN), by a count of 69-62.

The Panthers (1-0) will now prepare for their outing against Columbus North (Columbus, IN). The Bull Dogs go into the non-league outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Columbus North was tipped by Heritage Christian (Indianapolis, IN), 49-44, in a non-league outing.
