Yates Lions (Houston, TX) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Lincoln Tigers (Dallas, TX), 84-63 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Yates upgrades its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Madison (Dallas, TX) to play the Trojans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 0-2. Madison lost 81-54 in their recent non-league bout against Prestonwood Christian (Plano, TX)

Next up, the Tigers play the Ferris Yellowjackets (Ferris, TX) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Lincoln will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the bout with a 3-2 record after their 65-46 non-league win over Mabank (Mabank, TX).
