The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Providence Catholic Celtics to 41 in the Spartans non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Spartans now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield South for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Tuesday, November 29.
The Celtics (0-2) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL). The Wildcats come into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Plainfield Central was routed by Lockport (Lockport, IL), 60-38, in a non-league contest.
