The Decatur Lutheran Lions basketball team scored 57 points and held the visiting Tri-Valley Vikings to 51 in the Lions non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heyworth for a non-league contest on Friday, November 25. Decatur Lutheran will battle a Hornets team coming off a 49-44 non-league win over Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-0.

The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against St. Teresa (Decatur, IL). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, St. Teresa nudged Calvary (Springfield, IL), 55-45, in a non-league contest.
