The Lincoln-Way Central Knights basketball team scored 61 points and held the host Joliet Central Steelmen to 53 in the Knights non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Knights now sport a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lockport for a SouthWest Suburban - Blue contest on Monday, November 28. Lincoln-Way Central will battle a Porters team coming off a 37-32 non-league loss to Willowbrook (Villa Park, IL). The Porters record now stands at 1-4.
The Steelmen (1-3) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals enter the SouthWest Prairie - East contest with a 2-2 record. In their last contest, Plainfield East was defeated by Aurora East (Aurora, IL), 53-38, in a non-league contest.
