The Palm Desert Aztecs basketball team (Palm Desert, CA), was nudged 56-53 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Hillcrest Trojans (Riverside, CA)
The Trojans now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ramona for a battle on Friday, January 13.
The Aztecs (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Royal (Simi Valley, CA). The Highlanders come into the non-league battle with a 2-5 record. In their last battle, Royal was nudged by Santa Barbara (Santa Barbara, CA), 54-51, in a non-league battle.
