In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Gregory-Portland Wildcats basketball team scored a close 44-42 triumph over the Rowe Warriors.

The Wildcats (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Tuloso-Midway (Corpus Christi, TX). The Warriors & Cherokees go into the non-league contest with a 1-3 record. In their last contest, Tuloso-Midway was tipped by King (Corpus Christi, TX), 52-41, in a non-league contest.
