The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Jay Mustangs (San Antonio, TX) and the host Shoemaker Wolves (Killeen, TX), saw Jay's basketball team nip Shoemaker by a tally of 71-64.

The Mustangs now possess a 12-1 record. They play next when they host Southwest for a 5A Region IV District 28 bout on Tuesday, November 26. Jay will play a Dragons team coming off a 37-34 non-league loss to Flour Bluff (Corpus Christi, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 6-5.

With the loss, Shoemaker falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Wolves host A&M Consolidated (College Station, TX) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 1-3. A&M Consolidated won 66-38 in their recent non-league bout against Bryan (Bryan, TX)
