Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) followers went home pleased Saturday as they saw their football team gain a win over the visiting Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV), 48-28 in a non-league battle.

With the win, Jefferson advances its record to 8-3 on the season.

The Knights now own a 5-6 record.
