The Archbishop Shaw Eagles (Marrero, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Madison Prep Academy (Baton Rouge, LA), 34-22 in Saturday's non-league bout.
The Eagles now possess a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to St. Augustine for a non-league bout on Monday, November 25. Archbishop Shaw will play a Purple Knights team coming off a 21-19 non-league loss to West Jefferson (Harvey, LA). The Purple Knights record now stands at 0-1.
