The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Mayfair Monsoons (Lakewood, CA) and the visiting Firebaugh Falcons (Lynwood, CA), observed Mayfair's basketball team overwhelm Firebaugh by a score of 70-16.
The Monsoons (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Diamond Bar (Diamond Bar, CA). The Brahmas come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Diamond Bar trounced Calvary Chapel (Santa Ana, CA), 62-28, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy Warriors (Downey, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 2. Firebaugh will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
