In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Buffalo Bison ice hockey team scored a close 6-3 victory over the Brainerd Warriors.
The Bison (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Delano (Delano, MN). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Delano edged East Grand Forks (East Grand Forks, MN), 6-5, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Warriors play the Alexandria Cardinals (Alexandria, MN) in a Central Lakes contest, on Tuesday, November 26. Brainerd will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 0-2 record after their 7-4 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN).
