The Nicholas County Bluejackets basketball team scored 51 points and limited the host Morgan County Cougars to 37 in the Bluejackets non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the loss, Morgan County falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lawrence County (Louisa, KY) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Thursday, December 5. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 0-0.
