In Friday's non-league outing, the Marian Catholic Spartans (Chicago Heights, IL) basketball squad felled the host Hillcrest Hawks (Country Club Hills, IL), by a margin of 81-65.

The Spartans (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Carmel (Mundelein, IL). The Corsairs go into the East Suburban Catholic outing with a 3-2 record.

Next up, the Hawks play the Oak Lawn Spartans (Oak Lawn, IL) in a South Suburban bout, on Thursday, November 30. Hillcrest will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 64-28 non-league win over Chicago Christian (Palos Heights, IL).
