The Proviso East Pirates basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host St. Charles East Fighting Saints to 50 in the Pirates non-league victory on Friday.

The Pirates now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Benet Academy for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Proviso East will battle a Redwings team coming off a 68-43 non-league win over St. Charles East (St. Charles, IL). The Redwings record now stands at 2-0.

The Fighting Saints (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL). The Bengals come into the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Plainfield East triumphed over Aurora East (Aurora, IL), 70-49, in a non-league contest.
