    • Texas High School Basketball - Village falls to Willis

    November 24, 2023: Houston, TX 77077

    In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Willis Wildkats basketball team scored a good 72-57 triumph over the Village Vikings.

    In their next game, the Wildkats meet the New Caney Eagles (New Caney, TX) in a 6A Region II District 13 match, on Tuesday, November 28. Willis will attempt to better on its 5-4 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 3-5 record after their 42-40 non-league win over Kingwood Park (Kingwood, TX).

    With the defeat, Village moves to 3-6 on the year. The Vikings travel to Channelview (Channelview, TX) to meet the Falcons in a non-league match on Saturday, November 25. The Falcons enter the match with a record of 0-1. Channelview lost 56-50 in their recent non-league match against Morton Ranch (Katy, TX)
