West Virginia High School Football - Fairmont Senior prevails Independence

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Fairmont Senior Polar Bears (Fairmont, WV) and the visiting Independence Patriots (Coal City, WV), observed Fairmont Senior's football squad defeat Independence by a count of 42-21.

The Polar Bears now own a 10-2 record. They play next when they travel to North Marion for a non-league contest on Friday, December 1. Fairmont Senior will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 48-14 non-league win over Weir (Weirton, WV). The Huskies record now stands at 12-1.
