Jonesboro Cardinals (Jonesboro, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Banneker Trojans (College Park, GA), 58-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jonesboro upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Greater Atlanta Christian (Norcross, GA) to play the Spartans in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 25. The Spartans come into the bout with a record of 1-3. Greater Atlanta Christian lost 52-28 in their recent non-league bout against Harrison (Kennesaw, GA)

Next up, the Trojans play the Newnan Cougars (Newnan, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, November 28. Banneker will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 53-36 non-league win over Hampton (Hampton, GA).
