Parkway Panthers (Bossier City, LA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Central Tigers (Little Rock, AR), 58-56 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Parkway upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Gibsland-Coleman (Gibsland, LA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 28. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 2-3. Gibsland-Coleman lost 82-29 in their recent non-league bout against Walker (Walker, LA)
Next up, the Tigers play the Tupelo Golden Wave (Tupelo, MS) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, November 25. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-1 season record. The Golden Wave come into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 55-52 non-league loss to Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS).
