The Stewartville Tigers basketball team scored 75 points and held the visiting Mayer Lutheran Crusaders to 58 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Tigers now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Croix Lutheran for a non-league contest on Saturday, November 25. Stewartville will battle a Crusaders team coming off a 69-39 non-league loss to Holy Family Catholic (Victoria, MN). The Crusaders record now stands at 0-1.
The Crusaders (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Aquinas (La Crosse, WI). The Blugolds enter the non-league contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Aquinas was defeated by Jordan (Jordan, MN), 55-48, in a non-league contest.
