California High School Basketball - Orangewood Academy edges Windward

November 24, 2023: Garden Grove, CA 92843

The Orangewood Academy Spartans (Garden Grove, CA) basketball nipped the visiting Windward Wildcats (Los Angeles, CA), 60-54 in Friday's non-league test.

The Spartans (3-0) will now prepare for their test against Chino Hills (Chino Hills, CA). The Huskies go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Chino Hills got by Ayala (Chino Hills, CA), 77-41, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chaminade for a non-league test on Wednesday, November 29. Windward will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 70-48 non-league loss to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 3-2.
