Plainview Bears (Rainsville, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Ramsay Rams (Birmingham, AL), 61-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Plainview upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Westminster Christian Acadmey (Huntsville, AL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Monday, November 27. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Westminster Christian Acadmey won 41-33 in their recent non-league bout against Waterloo (Waterloo, AL)

Next up, the Rams clash with the Madison Academy Mustangs (Madison, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, November 27. Ramsay will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record.
