The South Aiken Thoroughbreds (Aiken, SC) basketball crushed the host Westside Patriots (Augusta, GA), 55-6 in Friday's non-league test.
The Thoroughbreds (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Greenwood (Greenwood, SC). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, Greenwood walloped Airport (West Columbia, SC), 49-29, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 0-2 record. They play next when they host Cross Creek for a non-league test on Friday, December 1. Westside will encounter a Razorbacks squad coming off a 59-55 non-league win over Butler (Augusta, GA). The Razorbacks record now stands at 3-2.
