In Monday's non-league contest, the host Hillcrest Patriots basketball team scored a good 61-44 triumph over the Central Red Devils.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Sipsey Valley (Buhl, AL). The Bears go into the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Sipsey Valley topped Childersburg (Childersburg, AL), 54-47, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Red Devils confront the Lanett Panthers (Lanett, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 1. Central will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record.
