In Monday's non-league contest, the host Dime Box Longhorns basketball team scored a close 61-55 triumph over the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles.
The Longhorns (4-0) will now prepare for their contest against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs go into the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Flatonia was tipped by Snook (Snook, TX), 62-30, in a non-league game.
With the loss, St. Joseph Catholic falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Hearne (Hearne, TX) to confront the Eagles in a non-league game on Tuesday, November 25. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 1-1. Hearne won 70-63 in their recent non-league game against Aggieland HomeSchool (College Station, TX)
