The Central of Clay County Volunteers nipped the host Piedmont Bulldogs basketball squad by a final score of 66-62 in Monday's non-league outing.

Next, the Volunteers face the Handley Tigers (Roanoke, AL) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, December 2. Central of Clay County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.

The Bulldogs (0-3) will now prepare for their outing against Sand Rock (Leesburg, AL). The Wildcats enter the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Sand Rock was nipped by Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL), 49-18, in a non-league outing.
