In Monday's non-league test, the French Settlement Lions (French Settlement, LA) basketball squad trounced the visiting Plaquemine Green Devils (Plaquemine, LA), by a tally of 49-19.
The Lions now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Dutchtown for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. French Settlement will play a Griffins team coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Plaquemine falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Green devils travel to Live Oak (Watson, LA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 2. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-1. Live Oak won 45-13 in their recent non-league bout against Maurepas (Maurepas, LA)
