The Hampton Hornets edged the host Spruce Creek Hawks basketball team by a tally of 58-53 in Monday's non-league game.
The Hornets now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Boca Raton for a non-league game on Tuesday, November 25. Hampton will play a Bobcats team coming off a 61-37 non-league win over West Boca Raton (Boca Raton, FL). The Bobcats record now stands at 2-0.
With the loss, Spruce Creek moves to 0-4 on the season. The Hawks travel to Lakewood (St. Petersburg, FL) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league test on Tuesday, November 25. The Spartans come into the test with a record of 3-1. Lakewood won 81-15 in their recent non-league test against Osceola (Seminole, FL)
