In Monday's non-league test, the Winston Salem Christian National Lions (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad knocked off the host Varsity Opponent (, ), by a tally of 45-25.
The Lions now possess a 5-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Thomas Aquinas for a non-league bout on Tuesday, November 25. Winston Salem Christian National will play a Raiders team coming off a 44-42 non-league win over Bishop Moore (Orlando, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-0.
With the loss, Varsity Opponent falls to 17-68 on the season. The travel to Central Pointe Christian Academy (Kissimmee, FL) to encounter the CPCA in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, November 25. The CPCA come into the challenge with a record of 2-0.
