In Friday's non-league match, the host Mason Comets basketball team scored a tight 72-69 triumph over the Dunbar Wolverines.

In their next game, the Comets meet the Springboro Panthers (Springboro, OH) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, November 29. Mason will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 1-0 record after their 76-46 non-league win over Goshen (Goshen, OH).
