California High School Basketball - Esperanza thwarts Northwood

The Esperanza Aztecs (Anaheim, CA) basketball knocked off the visiting Northwood Timberwolves (Irvine, CA), 68-57 in Friday's non-league test.

The Aztecs (2-1) will now prepare for their test against Wilson (Hacienda Heights, CA). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Wilson notched a victory over Twentynine Palms (Twentynine Palms, CA), 71-44, in a non-league test.

The Timberwolves now own a 3-5 record. They play next when they travel to Ocean View for a non-league outing on Saturday, November 26. Northwood will encounter a Seahawks squad coming off a 58-33 non-league loss to Fairmont (San Juan Capistrano, CA). The Seahawks record now stands at 2-5.
