Gonzaga Eagles (Washington, DC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Pebblebrook Falcons (Mableton, GA), 72-63 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gonzaga upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to Etowah (Woodstock, GA) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Saturday, November 26. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Etowah lost 69-41 in their recent non-league bout against Greenforest (Decatur, GA)

Next up, the Falcons play the Kell Longhorns (Marietta, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, November 26. Pebblebrook will attempt to improve on its 2-1 season record. The Longhorns come into the challenge with a 2-0 record after their 67-63 non-league win over Greenforest (Decatur, GA).
