Greenville Bears (Greenville, MO) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Summersville Wildcats (Summersville, MO), 44-42 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Greenville upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Bears host Zalma (Zalma, MO) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Monday, December 5. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-1. Zalma lost 99-37 in their recent non-league bout against Clearwater (Piedmont, MO)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Liberty Eagles (Mountain View, MO) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 1. Summersville will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
