In Friday's non-league outing, the Waubonsie Valley Warriors (Aurora, IL) basketball squad edged the visiting Marmion Cadets (Aurora, IL), by a count of 61-56.

The Warriors (3-0) will now prepare for their outing against Batavia (Batavia, IL). The Bulldogs go into the non-league outing with a 2-1 record. In their last outing, Batavia held off Longwood (Chicago, IL), 64-43, in a non-league outing.

The Cadets now hold a 3-1 record. They play next when they host IC Catholic Prep for a non-league outing on Tuesday, November 29. Marmion will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 55-42 non-league loss to Agricultural Science (Chicago, IL). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
