Woodland Wolfpack (Stockbridge, GA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Greenforest Eagles (Decatur, GA), 1-0 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Woodland upgrades its record to 3-1 on the campaign. The Wolfpack host McDonough (McDonough, GA) to play the Warhawks in a AAAA Region 5 bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Warhawks come into the bout with a record of 1-2. McDonough won 47-23 in their recent non-league bout against Douglass (Atlanta, GA)

Next up, the Eagles play the Bowdon Red Devils (Bowdon, GA) in a A D2 Region 7B bout, on Thursday, December 1. Greenforest will attempt to upgrade on its 0-3 season record.
