Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kimberly Papermakers (Kimberly, WI), 71-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Waukesha West upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Wolverines host Muskego (Muskego, WI) to clash with the Warriors in a Classic Eight bout on Tuesday, November 29. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 0-3. Muskego lost 49-21 in their recent non-league bout against Pius XI Catholic (Milwaukee, WI)

Next up, the Papermakers clash with the Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI) in a Fox Valley bout, on Tuesday, November 29. Kimberly will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 46-29 non-league win over De Pere (De Pere, WI).
