The Christ the King Gladiators basketball team scored 43 points and restricted the host De La Salle Meteors to 30 in the Gladiators non-league victory on Friday.

The Gladiators now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Comer for a non-league contest on Friday, November 25. Christ the King will battle a Catamounts team coming off a 52-49 non-league win over Grant Community (Fox Lake, IL). The Catamounts record now stands at 2-1.

The Meteors (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies come into the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Payton College Prep prevailed over Urban Prep-Bronzeville (Chicago, IL), 45-31, in a non-league contest.
