The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 53 points and held the host Bowie Volunteers to 45 in the Scots non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Scots now sport a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McKinney for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Highland Park will meet a Lions team coming off a 70-66 non-league loss to Lewisville (Lewisville, TX). The Lions record now stands at 7-2.

The Volunteers (5-3) will now prepare for their contest against North Forney (Forney, TX). The Falcons enter the non-league contest with a 4-2 record. In their last contest, North Forney ran past Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX), 74-56, in a non-league contest.
