The Downey Knights basketball team (Modesto, CA), was nudged 60-53 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sierra Timberwolves (Manteca, CA)

The Timberwolves now possess a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tracy for a non-league battle on Tuesday, November 28. Sierra will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 53-46 non-league loss to Kimball (Tracy, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

The Knights (0-1) will now prepare for their battle against Ripon (Ripon, CA). The Indians come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Ripon edged Liberty (Madera, CA), 55-28, in a non-league battle.
