Illinois High School Basketball - Fairfield can't hold off Vincennes Lincoln

The Vincennes Lincoln Alices basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Fairfield Mules to 37 in the Alices non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Alices now sport a 3-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evansville Reitz for a Southern Indiana contest on Friday, December 1. Vincennes Lincoln will battle a Panthers team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Grafton (Grafton, WI). The Panthers record now stands at 0-1.

The Mules (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Salem nudged Red Hill (Bridgeport, IL), 65-45, in a non-league contest.
