Illinois High School Basketball - Plainfield South can't hold off Stagg

The Stagg Chargers basketball team scored 49 points and restricted the visiting Plainfield South Cougars to 45 in the Chargers non-league victory on Saturday.

The Chargers now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bremen for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Stagg will battle a Braves team coming off a 64-29 non-league win over Universal (Bridgeview, IL). The Braves record now stands at 1-2.

The Cougars (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Crete-Monee (Crete, IL). The Warriors come into the non-league contest with a 3-1 record. In their last contest, Crete-Monee was nudged by Oak Lawn (Oak Lawn, IL), 67-53, in a non-league contest.
