The Columbus Catholic Dons basketball team scored 59 points and held the host Nekoosa Papermakers to 31 in the Dons non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Dons now sport a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Auburndale for a non-league contest on Tuesday, November 28. Columbus Catholic will battle a Apaches team coming off a 47-39 league win over Newman (Wausau, WI). The Apaches record now stands at 1-0.
The Papermakers (0-5) will now prepare for their contest against Montello (Montello, WI). The Hilltoppers enter the non-league contest with a 0-3 record. In their last contest, Montello was routed by Pardeeville (Pardeeville, WI), 81-38, in a league contest.
